Stan Hill, Oxford’s former offensive coordinator and son of former head coach Johnny Hill, was officially named to the same position at Northwest Community College on Monday morning.

Hill has called plays for the Chargers for the last eight years, and had been classified as a para-proffessional employee of the district, as he is not a teacher with the district.

Hill helped lead Oxford to three consecutive state championship appearances, where offense was never their weak point. He also helped nurture current Louisiana Tech quarterback, Jack Abraham, for four years.

He was not planning to return to his former position for the upcoming football season, and it was made official today, as Hill will continue his football career as a Northwest Ranger.
