Oxford’s annual Double Decker Arts Festival took place this year on April 22-23, 2016.  The festival was a celebration of food, music, and the arts.  According to the Oxford Citizen, there were around 185 vendors and 25 food court vendors.  There was music all day on Saturday.  The music line up included Riverside Voodoo, Delta Springs, Leo Bud Welch, Christone KINGFISH Ingram, The Bellfuries, Orgone, Lettuce, Michael Franti and Spearhead.  Many Oxford High School students and teachers attended the festival.

“I like that it’s a community event and everyone can meet up together and have fun,” junior Maya Langandoen said about the festival.
