With the season coming to an end, the Oxford High School Theatre Department is performing Hamlet as the finale. Opening tonight, (4/30), the show runs through Saturday as usual but there is also an additional performance Sunday afternoon. The show is the last performance for seniors Dan Schultz (Hamlet/Horatio), Jocelin Leon (Ophelia), Charlotte Bullard (Orsic), Reed Ashton Kevin (Player) and Emily Hankins (Student Director). Director John Davenport has also brought in three teachers of the school district. Spanish teacher Emily Maples is Queen Gertrude, debate and speech teacher Dr. Barbara Lowe is Polonius, and middle school English teacher Brad Hayden is King Caludius. Each performance is at the Kayla Mize Auditorium in the Oxford Middle School building. Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $5.
