Ole Miss finishes regular season with 10 wins for first time in school history, ranked 9th in the country

Aidan Patel

The Ole Miss Rebels would start the season unranked against Louisville in Atlanta on Labor Day. They would finish the season ranked ninth in the nation after defeating their arch rival of Mississippi State in Starkville on Thanksgiving Day. The Rebels would thrive under Lane Kiffin’s second year as head coach. They would finish second in the SEC West along with a top heisman candidate. The 2021 season would bring back glimpses of the 2014 season, the years of the Mannings, and much more. Although the Rebels will ultimately lose their leader at quarterback and a top defensive player to the NFL Draft, Ole Miss will have a lot to look forward to in years to come.
