Kaleidoscope: Netflix series allows viewers to watch episodes in different orders
Aidan Patel:
The idea around the show was a great way to promote it since you could watch any episode in any order, and it would all make sense in the end. I do not think that the creators did a great job of putting together the show, and there weren’t any big name actors that really grabbed viewers throughout the season. I think that there was potential, but it wasn’t great.
Henry Hyneman:
Although you can watch the show in a random order and it makes sense, it also makes it pointless. You can watch any show in any order and eventually it will make sense. This trick doesn’t make Kaleidoscope special at all and in fact I think the show is very ordinary. My biggest gripe on the show is that kaleidoscope is one of the hardest words to spell.
Andrews Mclellan:
After finishing the show, I realized that you really can not trust anything you hear from others. I started the show with great hopes and interest to see how they will pull off this unique style of film. I believe that the best part of watching a film is suspense and this show didn’t give the slightest bit of it. I would recommend this show to no one.
Kendall Kipping:
The concept was a great idea, but watching the entire show felt like a waste of time and wasn’t really worth it. The random order would get confusing, even though the entire idea of the show is that you can watch it in any order to make sense. While some of the episodes were interesting, I didn’t fully understand what was going on at some points.
Brady Stinnett:
I’m a guy that likes to finish a show when I start and I wish I never started. Although it says you can watch this show in any order, it’s not optimal. The finale came second in order for me, which completely spoiled the show and the rest was flashbacks and just flat out boring. This show something that I rather just watch in normal order or not at all.
Addison Franks:
The idea would have been great if it were done properly. After watching a few episodes, I had already known what was going to happen. If I had watched the show in an order that made sense chronologically then it would have been great. I recommend this show if you want to watch it in a regular order but otherwise it is a huge waste of time.
