Parker McCollum’s music just keeps getting better and better. McCollum released his new single “What Kinda Man” on Sept. 13, and it’s one of his best yet. There has been so much great country music being released these past few months, and McCollum’s song is no exception. “What Kinda Man” is written by McCollum, Natalie Hemby and Jeremy Spillman, and produced by Frank Liddell and Eric Masse. 

This particular track is about McCollum questioning his wild ways, and wanting to meet someone to help him get his life together. Many of McCollum’s songs are about relationships and bad decisions. “What Kinda Man” is McCollum trying to get past all of those things, and make a change. 

McCollum has been releasing music since 2015. “What Kinda Man” sounds like a more mature version of his first song “Limestone Kid” which he released in 2015. The harmonica and deeper vocals is what make this song feel more developed and complete.

McCollum is currently nominated for “Song of the year” at the upcoming 58th CMA awards in November, with his Platinum-Certified number one hit “Burn it Down. There is no doubt that Parker McCollum makes great, award worthy music.
