Levi Blount:
Senior football wide receiver Levi Blount has carved his name into the history books this season. Blount set a new school record of most career catches in the regular season with 71 catches in 10 games. After those 71 receptions, Blount racked up 916 yards this season bringing his career total to 1,482 yards. Blount will continue his career next year at Ole Miss.
Claire Wicker:
Claire Wicker ended her career with the Oxford Volleyball team this season at the top of the leaderboard. Wicker set a new school record for her 2,506 career assists. On top of that record, this season Wicker had 115 kills with 56 aces and 235 digs. Wicker has signed to play volleyball at Jones College next year.
Bailey Kosko:
Cross country and track star Bailey Kosko has been running for Oxford since seventh grade. Throughout his six years, Kosko has shined among the rest with his countless victories highlighted by his 1600 meter track state championship last season. Kosko has also finished top 20 in the state in cross country all four years of high school, including a fifth place finish this year.
James Blackwood:
Junior baseball star James Blackwood has shined this season for Oxford. Blackwood had the highest batting average on the team in the regular season with being the only player over .400. Blackwood also co-leads the team in home runs with three along with his 22 RBIs throughout the regular season. Blackwood is currently committed to Meridian Community College for baseball.
Paisley Walls:
Sophomore softball star Paisley Walls was dominant for the Lady Chargers in 2025. Walls showcases her skill in the circle and at the plate as she pitched a total of 56 innings this season with a 5.12 ERA and 40 strikeouts compared to her only 19 walks. At the plate, Walls had an average of .275 along with her 10 RBIs.
Zoe Metcalf:
Zoe Metcalf is an ultimate competitor. Metcalf is a star on the OHS girls basketball team and has been for many years now. She’s able to make shots from behind the arc, and drive the basket to get easy points. Metcalf will continue playing basketball as she will join the Northwest Community College women’s basketball team next year.
Ja’Lyen Judson:
Defensive back Ja’Lyen Judson was a leader on the Charger defense this season as he was selected as a captain for the 2024 season. Judson had 47 total tackles, 40 of them being solo tackles, with eight pass breakups and one interception. Judson will continue his football career at the University of Alabama Birmingham next year.
Cianna Davis:
Dancer, powerlifter and track runner Cianna Davis is a star on many different playing fields. This season, Davis won first place at the MHSAA powerlifting state championship. Along with that win, Davis was also a member of the state championship winning dance team in 2022. Davis will join the Northwest Community College dance team next year.
Jeremiah Dudley:
Jeremiah Dudley was a vital piece of the boy’s soccer team’s success this season helping the team reach the playoffs. Dudley led the team as he was selected by his teammates to be a captain this year. Dudley scored a total of 24 goals with 12 assists and will continue playing soccer at Itawamba Community College next year.
Owen Wilkinson:
Senior Owen Wilkinson is a tennis champion at Oxford with her many victories over the years. Wilkinson has won two MHSAA state championships along with countless wins in other tournaments. Wilkinson was selected to be one of very few members of the Ole Miss women’s tennis team next season.
Landon Schock:
Senior Landon Schock was an Oxford Charger swimming powerhouse. This past season, Schock placed first overall in the 100 yard breaststroke setting a new school record. He also broke the school record for the 200 yard IM. Schock ended his career after this season, but has racked up many accomplishments throughout the years.
Jane Irwin:
Jane Irwin was the Lady Charger soccer team’s freshman phenom this season making her debut on the varsity roster. Irwin scored a total of 11 goals this season backed by her 15 assists. Irwin was one of two starting freshmen this season and the only one playing in the field. Irwin’s future is bright in her next three years at Oxford.
