The team welcomed a new head coach at the beginning of the season following their previous coach departing from the program. Karen Yelverton joined the team as head coach in July, just weeks before the season began.
Under Yelverton’s leadership in year one, the team finished the season in the second round of playoffs in a battle with Lewisburg after their first round match win against Hernando. With only losing two seniors, the Lady Chargers return most of their production and look to go on a deep run next season.
